Policies and Rules for Customers
1. Reservation Policy
- All bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit or payment.
- Guests must provide accurate information during the booking process. Any discrepancies may lead to the cancellation of the booking.
- Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the check-in date will be eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the check-in date will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to one night’s stay.
- No refunds will be provided for no-shows or early departures.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7 business days.
3. Check-In and Check-Out Policy
- Check-in time: 12.00 pm
- Check-out time: 10.30 am
- Valid government-issued photo identification (e.g., Aadhaar, Passport, Driving License, Voter ID) is required for all guests at the time of check-in, as mandated by Indian law.
- Foreign nationals must present their passport and visa details.
4. Payment Policy
- Full payment or a deposit is required to secure a reservation.
- Accepted payment methods include UPI, net banking, and cash.
- The balance amount, if any, must be cleared at the time of check-in.
5. Guest Conduct and Behavior
- Guests are required to respect the rules and privacy of other guests and staff.
- Smoking is prohibited in non-smoking areas. A penalty of Rs 500 will be charged for violations.
- Any damage caused to hotel property will be charged to the guest’s account.
6. Child and Extra Bed Policy
- Children below 10 years can stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
- Extra beds are available at an additional charge of Rs 300 and must be requested in advance.
- Maximum occupancy policies for rooms must be adhered to.
7. Visitor Policy
- Guests are responsible for the conduct of their visitors.
- Visitors are not allowed in guest rooms after 09:00 PM.
- All visitors must register at the front desk and provide valid identification.
8. Safety and Security
- The hotel is not responsible for the loss or theft of valuables left unattended.
- For safety reasons, only registered guests are allowed in guest rooms.
9. Food and Beverage Policy
- Outside food and beverages are not permitted unless approved by the hotel management.
- Alcohol consumption is permitted only in designated areas and for guests above the legal drinking age.
10. Pets Policy
- Pets are not allowed inside the property during the stay.
11. Privacy Policy
- Guest information will be collected, stored, and processed in accordance with applicable Indian data protection laws.
- Personal information will not be shared with third parties except for regulatory or legal requirements.
12. Force Majeure
- The hotel is not liable for failure to fulfill its obligations due to natural disasters, government actions, strikes, or any other unforeseen circumstances.
13. Governing Law
- All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Ooty, India.
